Adam Audio T8V is a large, near-to-midfield professional studio monitor which sits at the top of the T Series family. With segment-leading audio specs and incredible real-world performance, T Series provides the essence of what music professionals and enthusiasts are really looking for. As the largest monitor in the series, T8V enables reliable mixing decisions and balanced, highly enjoyable bass, providing users with a powerful, full-spectrum all-in-one loudspeaker.
T8V features specially developed 8" polypropylene woofers linked to a ferrite magnet system driven by 70-watt class D amplification. The hand-folded U-ART high-frequency driver crosses over at 2.6kHz and is coupled with a 20-watt class D amplifier. This design offers T8V a combination of clean power handling, solid headroom for precise near and midfield listening applications, excellent low-distortion output and highly efficient thermal dynamics.
T8V centers around Adam Audio's industry-leading air motion transformer tweeter design, referred to as ART or 'Accelerated Ribbon Technology.' The compact 1.9" U-ART tweeter has been developed so users can enjoy the same precise and unfatiguing high-frequency reproduction that Adam Audio's flagship monitoring systems are known for.
With its focus on core functionality and delivering maximum quality and performance, T Series offers the key inputs that both professionals and consumers alike are looking for. This includes balanced XLR inputs for connection to audio interfaces and other studio equipment, plus unbalanced RCA inputs for connecting to other devices.
Beyond useful connections, T Series offers several other convenient functions on the back panel. High- and low-frequency shelves are controlled via two manual switches, each offering 0dB and ±2 dB. In addition, there are mechanical controls for gain, input select and power voltage switching.
