Just when Audient's engineers thought they couldn't make the original iD44 sound any better, MkII sees a massive 9dB improvement on the ADC's THD+N figure, meaning clean audio with less added noise and even less audible distortion.
Easily configure your studio to tackle bigger sessions. Equipped with two optical input and output connectors, iD44 MkII gives you plenty of options for expansion. Supporting both ADAT and SPDIF, boost your I/O by adding up to 16 channels of mic preamps to your setup – ideal for bigger sessions.
Integrate your favorite outboard effects prior to conversion and start creating signal chains that rival the very best. The insert returns also give you direct access to the A/D converters, providing the cleanest signal path possible and making them great for print-backs or integrating outboard line level sources.
Designed to replicate the input stage of a classic valve amplifier, iD44 MkII features two harmonically rich JFET instrument inputs, giving you the perfect sonic foundation for your guitars or basses before you hit your amp sims.
The iD mixer tightly integrates hardware and software, letting you effortlessly set up low-latency direct monitoring, create up to four stereo artist cue mixes, name and customize channels, save layout presets, assign hardware function buttons and quickly set up advanced routing.
iD44 MkII's dedicated talkback technology enables you to use any audio source connected to your computer such as a built-in or USB microphone as your talkback mic, freeing up valuable mic preamps for recording.
Speed up your workflow with iD44 MkII's three programmable function buttons. Assign any of the advanced monitoring features, including Speaker Select, Mono Sum, Polarity Reverse or Cue Mix monitoring, to any of the F-buttons and quickly take control of your session.
Connect and listen to your mixes through two sets of speakers with iD44 MkII's four line outputs. Alternatively, use the extra line outputs to send audio to an external headphone amp for distribution to your artists.
Easily record and collaborate with others by utilizing iD44's two individual stereo headphone amps, both providing more than enough power for your headphones to perform accurately. Lost your headphone adapter or need a third set of headphones? iD44 MkII benefits from the addition of a dual headphone output, including both 1/4" and 1/8" jacks on headphone output one, providing even more monitoring flexibility when you need it.

Giving you the ability to capture playback from multiple applications on your computer at the same time as your microphones, audio loopback lets you create a custom audio feed ready to send to your streaming software, ideal for content creators, podcasters and streamers. iD44 MkII's loopback feature is controlled via the software mixer, enabling you to select the loopback source from six different options to suit a variety of practical scenarios.
Turn iD44 MkII's volume knob into a virtual scroll wheel and take control of a variety of compatible onscreen parameters. Quickly dial in settings, adjust faders or even write in automation without spending hours staring at the screen.
iD44 MkII comes with both a standard USB cable and a USB-C cable, enabling you to connect to any USB-compatible Mac or PC supporting USB 2.0 or above.
