The two-piece sound module separates the control surface from the base unit to balance accessibility with durability. A low-profile control interface with a full-color touchscreen LCD provides intuitive operation in a compact format, while the floor-standing base unit houses the core hardware in a rugged enclosure with secure, reliable cable connections. This design keeps essential controls within easy reach while maintaining a stable, professional-grade system layout.

Stage-Box Reliability

EFNOTE PRO has eliminated the need to change mics or mic placement, tuning, head replacement and maintenance at every show. Just assign its 12-ch balanced outputs, using stereo or mono sends, such as kick, snare, toms, cymbals, click and external sampling pad. Each channel in equipped with HPF, 2-band EQ, compressor (Bus 1-6) and ground lift switches.

Remote Control

The EFNOTE TOOLS app provides faster and more reliable rehearsals. The FOH engineer can change the settings of the output sent to the console without affecting the drummer’s monitor sound. The drummer can also adjust the front sound while playing back the recorded data.

Extensive Drum and Cymbal Collection

A wide range of drum sets and cymbals has been carefully captured to preserve the natural resonance and character of real instruments. The drum library reflects the raw, organic response of acoustic drums rather than synthetic or heavily processed tones, with shells made from maple, birch, acrylic, steel, aluminum, brass, and titanium, along with distinctive variations such as towel-muted drums for unique studio-style textures. Complementing these kits is a diverse cymbal collection that spans bright and articulate modern sounds to darker, softer vintage-inspired tones, along with contemporary effect options including trash and stacked cymbals.

USB 12-Channel Multi-Track Recording

USB connectivity allows simultaneous 12-channel multi-track audio recording along with multi-track MIDI, making it easy to capture detailed performances directly into a computer-based production environment. The system has been confirmed to work with major DAWs and also includes traditional 5-pin DIN MIDI connections with MIDI In and Out for integration with external MIDI hardware.

Bluetooth Connectivity and Headphone Monitoring

Built-in Bluetooth audio allows wireless playback from a smartphone or tablet, making it easy to play along with music from streaming services or online videos, while Bluetooth MIDI provides convenient wireless communication with compatible apps and devices. For personal monitoring, a dedicated high-powered headphone amplifier supports both 1/4" and 1/8" headphone connections simultaneously, delivering strong output through a high-quality DAC and audio circuit for clear, detailed listening.

New in v2.0: User Tones

User Tones (UT) allow you to create dynamics-sensitive custom sounds for stage performance and music production. Simply drag and drop your audio files into the EFNOTE Desktop Tools app and select up to four dynamic layers per tone. With a single click, the User Tone can be transferred to the module and assigned to a drum pad. User Tones can also be used as Overlay Tones, allowing them to be layered with preset sounds to expand your creative possibilities while maintaining EFNOTE’s high-quality sound character.

New in v2.0: Instrument Expansion

Instrument Expansion (IX) is a collection of additional drum instruments available online. With the EFNOTE Desktop Tools app, browsing and installing IX collections is easier than ever. EFNOTE continues to develop a wide range of authentic and practical sounds, from timeless classics to modern styles, designed to support professional musicians in a variety of performance and production environments.
