KingKorg Neo features Korg's XMT virtual analog sound engine. XMT stands for eXpandedKEY Modelling Technology and was created to offer an expansive array of sounds while ensuring simplicity in operation via its preset oscillator algorithms. These carefully designed combinations of different oscillator types and quantities let you quickly shape rich, stage-ready tones with ease. KingKorg Neo comes loaded with a wide range of oscillator algorithms, from classic sawtooth and square waves to more intricate noise patterns typical of analog synthesizers and extending to PCM/DWGS.
KingKorg Neo is equipped with a diverse range of filter models, each adding a distinct flavor to your sound creations. Essential analog filter types sit alongside painstakingly modeled iconic filters from synths of the 70s, polyphonic synths from the vibrant new wave era of the 80s and even the legendary filters from Korg's own MS-20 analog synth. The filter models even self-oscillate when you dial up the resonance, a hallmark of classic analog synthesis. This capability opens up a world of sonic possibilities from creating ethereal textures to crafting powerful, resonant tones.
KingKorg Neo comes equipped with an XLR input on its front panel and includes a rugged, high-quality microphone for use with its powerful vocoder. At its core is a sophisticated 16-band filter; by shifting the filter frequency with the formant shift function and finely adjusting the level and pan of each band, you open the doors to an array of unique and original sounds. But there's more! Timbre B can be used as a modulator, providing an alternative to the traditional microphone input and allowing the vocoder effect to be seamlessly blended with the synth sound. Moreover, each of the three oscillators, A and B timbres, can be individually selected as a source for the microphone input, letting you synthesize a rich mix of voice and instrument.
KingKorg Neo's extensive library of 200 stage-ready preset programs is created for the modern music maker. These presets span eight categories like synth, lead and bass and offer an intuitive gateway to finding the perfect sound for any scenario.
KingKorg Neo elevates your sound with three master effect slots, each offering six distinct effect types. The PRE FX slot brings the grit and edge of effects like distortion and amp simulator. MOD FX infuses your tracks with the classic charm of phaser, chorus and tremolo. For creating expansive atmospheres, the REV/DELAY slot offers ambient effects including hall reverb and modulation delay. Adjusting and selecting these effects is straightforward, thanks to dedicated dials on the front panel for each slot complemented by control knobs for detailed fine-tuning.

KingKorg Neo comes equipped with a versatile step arpeggiator, a tool that breathes life into your performances by automatically generating arpeggio phrases based on chords you play. Tailor your sound even further by selecting from six different arpeggio types. You can specify the duration, interval and on/off status of each step, opening up a vast array of rhythmic possibilities.
KingKorg Neo's control panel is thoughtfully organized into blocks, streamlining your workflow by putting the right controls at your fingertips as you edit. The oscillator section boasts a dedicated display showing the name of the currently selected algorithm and an adjacent dial to browse through the options and quickly jump to different categories like ANALOG or DWGS. There are also dedicated dials for each of the three master effects, letting you experiment with different effects and hear their impact on your sound. And thanks to the self-luminous organic EL display, visibility is crystal clear, whether you're under the bright lights of the stage or in a studio setting.
The favorites function lets you recall frequently-used programs at a single touch. You can assign a total of 40 programs to the eight category favorite buttons for easy recall.

Korg USA Warranty Policy
All Korg products purchased from a Korg USA authorized dealer are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship to the original consumer for a period of one (1) year.
Register your new Korg keyboard, keyboard rack module or digital piano online and receive a certificate that extends the product warranty for an extra year from the date of purchase. Product must be registered within 90 days of purchase to receive an extra year of warranty.
Tuner and Metronome products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship to the original consumer for a period of three (3) years.
Tubes, AC Adapters and Foot Switches are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship to the original consumer for a period of ninety (90) days.
The customer must provide proof of purchase in order to obtain warranty service. The dated sales slip or copy thereof is the only acceptable proof of purchase.
The product must be purchased from a Korg USA authorized dealer and have a valid serial number.
This warranty is valid only in the USA.
Damage resulting from the following causes are excluded from the warranty set forth above: misuse, including damage occurring during shipment, damage caused by battery leakage, accident, fire, unauthorized repairs, tampering, cosmetic damage or other types of damage which are the result of improper handling or abuse; the cleaning of controls or contacts due to exposure to dirty, dusty, or otherwise contaminated environment; damage resulting from modification; damage to units used for loan or rental.
