Music Ducking intelligently lowers the music volume when you speak into the mic, eliminating the need to manually ride a fader every time you need to address the crowd. The Thump12v4 includes a practical onboard mixer that handles a range of sources without requiring an external console for smaller setups. Both channels feature XLR/TRS combo jacks, channel 1 includes a mic/line switch to accommodate microphones directly, and channel 2 adds a 1/8-inch input for phones or media players. The XLR mix output carries the full mix including Bluetooth audio, so you can chain to additional speakers or a recording device with no signal loss.

Bluetooth on the Thump12v4 goes well beyond basic wireless audio streaming. You can pair a smartphone or tablet as a music source, link two Thump12v4 units wirelessly for stereo, zone, or dual mono configurations, and run the Thump Connect 2 app to adjust EQ and all speaker settings from across the room. Bluetooth operates simultaneously alongside the analog inputs and its signal is included in the XLR mix output, so incorporating it into your signal chain does not require any workarounds.
