The MXL CR89 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone wrapped in sharply contrasted black and chrome. The sound is every bit as bold as the body; the CR89 can handle subtle acoustic guitar tones and loud vocals with the same sonic integrity. The CR89 has low noise circuitry and a very low proximity effect, making it ideal for up-close recording. At home on instruments and vocals, the CR89's body design minimizes body resonance while the tuned grill cavity reduces standing waves and harmonic distortion.

All MXL microphones are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for 1 year (90 days on tube) from date of purchase.
MXL microphones are manufactured to very strict quality control guidelines and are designed to give you years of trouble-free service. MXL warranties vary by product. Be sure to check the owner's manual for warranty information on your particular product.
Should you experience any problems with an MXL product, review MXL's FAQ section on their website. Oftentimes, issues can be resolved with a few simple steps. If you still experience problems, promptly contact the company you purchased it from for assistance.
The original dated sales receipt will be necessary for any warranty claim. Do not send any unit directly to MXL without prior authorization from its service department.
Warranty coverage is limited to repair or replacement (at their option) of the microphone, and does not cover incidental damages due to use of the unit, nor damage caused by accidental misuse of the product.
