UDO Audio DMNO ON is the full-featured 8-voice, 2-part multi-timbral DMNO synthesizer in a compact desktop format. Built around two independent analog-hybrid synth engines, it retains DMNO's highly flexible signal architecture, with each engine featuring UDO's dynamic multi-core stereo VCF. Eight creative Play Modes unlock dynamic interactions between the two timbres at the touch of a single control, while its flexible analog and digital audio connectivity make it a truly expansive and immediate sound design sandbox.
The ON System (sold separately) allows players to add an optional synth control unit to recreate the dual-panel DMNO interface, or choose from a range of upcoming expansion modules to extend it further and build their perfect DMNO. Play ON!
- 8-voice polyphonic, with 4 'super' voices when in Binaural mode

Stack up, knock down
The two fully-featured independent synthesizers (DMNO 1 & 2) take center stage, each representing a complete timbral layer with its own oscillators, filters, modulation and effects. Both DMNOs (timbres) are driven by two ultra-high sample rate, high resolution FPGA-powered digital oscillators, each routed through an exceptionally powerful and versatile stereo analog filter.
Play Modes: change your game
DMNO features eight user-selectable Play Modes that redefine how its two synth engines interact, ranging from classic splits and layers to dynamic, creative and unexpected routings. With the touch of a single control, voices and timbres can be stacked or divided, letting Play Modes instantly transform the instrument's behavior to unlock new sounds, new interactions and entirely happy accidents.
UDO's most flexible filter(s) yet
The twin analog dynamic multi-core stereo filters are uniquely powerful and flexible, employing a novel, reconfigurable voltage-controlled topology with a beautiful warm sound and comprehensive configuration options. The filter pairs can be used in series, parallel or stereo, with each configuration offering a wealth of filter modes ranging from classic, recognizable shapes to bold, experimental options, all while maintaining a deeply musical character.
The ON system: tailor your control
The ON System gives you the freedom to shape DMNO around the way you play. The base unit delivers the complete 8-voice, 2-part multitimbral synthesis engine in a streamlined desktop format, while optional ONM expansion modules (sold separately) let you add dedicated hands-on control where you need it. Connected via a robust, screw-locking D-Sub cable, the ONM units are plug-and-play with no additional power supply required. Recreate the dual-control set of the keyboard DMNO with an ONM-1 Synth Control or expand your effects workflow with the upcoming ONM-2 Effects Control. Combine up to two different modules to build a setup tailored to your playing style or preference.
Connect completely
Integrate seamlessly into any setup with DMNO's comprehensive and meticulously-designed suite of studio connectivity capabilities. Built-in USB audio interface functionality enables a direct 2-in 2-out connection to your computer or DAW, while the flexible audio I/O options include creative features such as an external audio input with a variable-gain preamplifier, gate generator and envelope follower integrated into the mod matrix.
Crystal clear
DMNO's display puts everything at your fingertips, from patch and performance management to instrument voicing, filter exploration, effects controls and a powerful sequencer. Every parameter is exactly where you need it – no deep menus, no digging. All of this is presented on the best screen UDO could get its hands on: a beautifully high-contrast, long lasting, electroluminescent glass vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) with an ultra-wide viewing angle.
Play seriously
All these features come together to form an instrument more than the sum of its parts, one that fully embodies and elevates the UDO ethos: 'The Power of Play.' Where the Super Series synths knock politely and enter with elegance, DMNO kicks the door down. It is unapologetically bold, deeply expressive, and – most importantly – immensely fun. Lose yourself in the world of DMNO, with its no-compromise build quality and components, creative connectivity options and an unparalleled hybrid architecture capable of delivering subtle warmth alongside extreme tones that always remain musical.
