Viscount Legend 261 Dual-Manual Organ
The Viscount Legend 261 is a dual-manual tonewheel organ built to hold its own on stage. Its two 61-note waterfall keyboards invite the smears, glisses, and fast releases that organ players demand, while Viscount's TMT (Tonewheel Modeling Technology) captures the living, breathing behavior of vintage electromechanical organs from the inside out, rather than leaning on static samples. Pipe and transistor voices sit right alongside the classic tonewheel sound, and an array of rotary, overdrive, and modulation effects lets you shape everything from a mellow jazz whisper to a big, overdriven gospel tone.

Tonewheel Modeling Technology
TMT generates the sound by modeling the inner workings of a vintage electromechanical organ rather than replaying recordings. Each tonewheel type has its own modeled crosstalk, the subtle leakage between wheels that gives the originals their character, and keyclick is reproduced individually across all nine drawbar contacts. The engine also models the tone control of the classic AO-28 preamp used in the original organs.
Two Manuals and Drawbar Control
Each of the two 61-note manuals has two full sets of nine drawbars, so you can set one registration on set A, another on set B, and switch between them from the panel. Two presets per manual and two pedal drawbars round out the control, and the pedal drawbars can be played from the lower manual when no pedalboard is connected. The drawbar sets can also be reversed for Gospel-style playing.
Left Hand Routing
The Left Hand function sends the bottom two octaves of the lower manual to a separate audio output, so you can amplify or equalize a bass line on its own. Together with the dedicated pedal and rotary outputs, it gives you flexible control over how the instrument feeds your rig.
Percussion, String Bass, Vibrato and Chorus
Harmonic Percussion offers second or third harmonic, soft or normal volume, fast or slow decay, and control over both volume and decay time. String Bass adds a rounded low end with its own decay control. Vibrato and Chorus cover the vintage V-1, V-2, V-3 and C-1, C-2, C-3 settings and are user-editable.
Rotary, Amp and Overdrive
You can choose among different rotary and amplifier models, with the parameters open to editing, and the overdrive control ranges from mild warmth to heavy distortion. The slow and fast brake gives the classic rotary ramp-up and slow-down. An eleven-pin connector lets you drive a real rotary cabinet directly, and reverb can sit before or after the rotary stage.
Organ Models
The engine holds three model families, each with several variants. Tonewheel covers blues, jazz, rock, and gospel; pipe covers classical and church sounds; and transistor recreates two combo organs, one English and one Italian, associated with 1960s pop. A different model can be assigned to the pedalboard than to the manuals.
Effects and EQ
Beyond the core organ effects, the Legend 261 adds ring modulator, flanger, phaser, wah, tremolo, and delay, each with two parameters adjustable in real time. A three-band Master EQ handles bass, middle, and treble, and transpose plus fine tuning let it sit alongside other instruments.
