The PSR-E483 features 860 Voices designed to capture the character and nuance of acoustic and electronic instruments. From classic electric pianos and organs to strings and vibraphone, each Voice is optimized for expressive response. With 345 preset Styles, the keyboard provides full-band backing that follows your left-hand chords, delivering rhythm, bass, and harmony that adapts to your playing.
Live Control Knobs allow key sound parameters to be adjusted in real time, making it easy to shape tone during performance or experimentation. A dedicated Pitch Bend wheel adds expressive pitch control, while the grid panel design and display screen provide clear visual feedback and quick access to Voices, Styles, and functions without interrupting workflow.
An onboard DSP engine includes 41 DSP1 and 12 DSP2 effects to enhance Voices and accompaniment parts with added depth and texture. Motion Effects introduce dynamic movement such as phaser and tremolo effects at the press of a button. Quick Sampling allows short musical phrases to be recorded and triggered in sync with the Style, ensuring tight timing during playback.
The PSR-E483 supports a range of creative and performance setups, including microphone input for singing while playing and compatibility with Yamaha’s Rec’n’Share app for recording and sharing performances. MIDI Song to Style functionality makes it possible to convert existing MIDI files into fully arranged Styles, complete with intros, endings, and fills.
