UX Logic: a revolutionary and stylish user experience
UX Logic is the name of Studiologic's adaptive color user interface. The razor-sharp TFT color display and the color-coded adaptive encoders are always synchronized by zone, allowing you to navigate all realtime settings in an intuitive way, while Zoom mode lets you focus on a single zone's values. An 'uncrowded' control panel contributes to the elegant design of Numa X Piano, a pleasant side effect of such an effective and rational interface.
Powerful acoustic and electric physical modeling with HD effects
The sound engines are based on a powerful mix of sampling, waveshaping and real physical modeling. Acoustic modeling makes acoustic piano sounds even more real by reproducing string resonances, duplex scale, release note, key off and damper noise, while electric modeling implements a detailed physical model of a vintage electric piano. There are eight insert effects (2 for each zone) plus master reverb and delay. UX Logic Zoom settings are available to quickly tweak effects, which can be stored in each program.
Let your fingers go with the Fatar touch
Numa X Piano 73 features the Fatar hammer action TP/110 keybed with three contacts and aftertouch, a massive improvement over the TP/100 design with new hammers, sturdy keys and impressive bounce reduction. Aftertouch is triggered by the hammers for a more accurate control. Four velocity curves, a general sensitivity control and black/white balance let you dial in the perfect feel. TP/110 is also remarkably light for better portability.
Numa Manager for sound database expansion
A generous section of internal memory is left free for additional sounds to be published on the Studiologic website. Factory and user programs can be moved and reordered with the Numa Manager desktop app, also used for easy firmware updates.
Built-in digital mixer and USB audio interface
Numa X Piano also includes four audio inputs and a four-track digital mixer with gain and EQ controls, letting you mix and record external sources such as microphones, bass, guitars or other keyboards. Thanks to Numa X Piano's built-in USB audio interface, you can record directly to your computer or tablet with local direct control over audio levels.
Versatile connectivity
You may want a switch pedal, a continuous pedal or a triple pedal – why not all three at once, plus more? Four audio inputs, 5-pin DIN MIDI and USB for both MIDI and audio let you connect all your instruments and devices.
Assignable expression sticks
The aluminum expression sticks can control any desired sound parameter. Stick 1 is bi-directional and springed; Stick 2 is unidirectional and not springed.
